Smith Pond Beach Closed After E. Coli Levels Exceed Water Quality Standards
Smith Pond Beach, also known as Cooks Pond, is closed until further notice after testing found E. coli bacteria above water quality standards. Worcester public health officials say additional laboratory testing is required before the beach can reopen.
