RT.12 Pickle will host the LIV STRONG Paddle Battle on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The all-day event will raise money to support Zerwas and her recovery.

According to event organizers, all proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to Liv and her recovery efforts.

“All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Liv and her recovery,” said Ben Minsk, owner of RT.12 Pickle. “This is an opportunity for our community to come together, play the sport we love, and make a meaningful impact.”

A Community Event Built Around Support The LIV STRONG Paddle Battle will feature an eight-hour pickleball marathon with players participating in two-hour waves of continuous play.

Participants will rotate partners and opponents throughout each session, creating an inclusive format for different skill levels, from beginners to more advanced players.

Each level will be led by court captains who will help organize play, track scores, and keep participants engaged throughout the day.

The event will also include a fundraising competition, with players and teams earning points for performance, participation, fundraising, and team spirit. Prizes will be awarded for categories including top fundraisers and longest win streaks.

Event Schedule The fundraiser will take place at RT.12 Pickle in West Boylston on Saturday, June 13.

The schedule includes:

Wave 1: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Wave 2: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Wave 3: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Wave 4: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Event highlights include level-based play, organized rotations, team-based fundraising, an event t-shirt with registration, and a community-focused atmosphere supporting a local family.

Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $250 per level, with friendly competition to exceed fundraising goals.

How to Participate or Donate Players can register through PlaybyPoint and complete the official registration form. Community members who are unable to attend can still support the fundraiser through direct donations.

The fundraiser is being organized as a way for the community to rally around Zerwas and her family during her recovery journey.
