In a recent development concerning a reported armed robbery at the Flower Shop on 120 Stafford St, Worcester Police officers have made a significant breakthrough in the case. The incident, which occurred on December 1st, involved a male suspect entering the store, brandishing a knife, and demanding cash before fleeing the scene.

Following an intensive investigation by Worcester Police detectives, a warrant was issued for the arrest of thirty-five-year-old Tommie-Lee Goddard, a resident of Stafford St. The warrant charged Goddard with Armed Robbery While Masked, prompting law enforcement to issue a BOLO (Be On the LookOut) alert to locate the suspect.

On December 30th, a seemingly unrelated incident led Worcester Police officers to the area of 68 Stafford St in response to a report of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, officers identified the disorderly individual as the sought-after suspect, Tommie-Lee Goddard. Without delay, officers placed Goddard under arrest in connection with the outstanding warrant related to the armed robbery at the Flower Shop.

The swift action and astute recognition of Worcester Police officers resulted in the apprehension of the suspect, providing a sense of relief to the affected community and showcasing the dedication of law enforcement in pursuing justice.

The Worcester Police Department expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of all involved in resolving this case. Mr. Goddard is currently in custody pending further legal proceedings related to the armed robbery allegations.

The apprehension of the suspect marks a crucial step forward in ensuring the safety and security of the Worcester community, emphasizing the commitment of law enforcement to uphold public safety and bring perpetrators of crime to justice.
