Free Program Supported by Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation

The program comes at no cost to participants, thanks to the generous funding provided by the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation. This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering diversity in the food industry and supporting local talent in Worcester.

Comprehensive Curriculum and Licensing Opportunities

Participants in this program will embark on a comprehensive curriculum covering crucial aspects of launching a food business. From business planning and basic accounting to culinary skills and equipment expertise, attendees will gain a well-rounded education. Upon successful completion, participants will obtain a licensed food business through the Worcester Regional Food Hub.

Legal Compliance and Risk Mitigation

Understanding the importance of legal compliance, participants will secure a Worcester or Fitchburg business license and a food establishment permit, ensuring that their culinary ventures adhere to local regulations.
