Worcester Woman Wins $4 Million in Massachusetts Lottery
A Shrewsbury store is celebrating alongside a Worcester woman after selling the winning ticket for a major lottery prize. Laura Capalbo of Worcester won $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X Cash” $10 instant ticket game.
Capalbo opted for the cash payout, taking home a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes. When asked about her plans, she shared that the winnings will go toward travel and supporting her family, bringing joy to her loved ones.
The winning ticket was purchased at Family Farms on Boston Turnpike, which will also receive a $40,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
