Worcester County, 10/18/2023 – With the winter season swiftly approaching, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is once again extending a warm hand to those in need through their 10th Annual Winter Coat Drive. The initiative is set to ensure that individuals facing the harsh chill of the coldest months will stay comfortably warm.
In a remarkable show of community solidarity, the sheriff’s office has teamed up with local organizations, businesses, and compassionate community members. This collaboration, which took place on Tuesday, aimed to raise crucial funds for the distribution of brand-new winter coats to thousands of deserving individuals across Worcester County.
Donations for this heartwarming endeavor will be actively encouraged and accepted until October 27th, giving individuals ample time to contribute to this noble cause.
Sheriff Lew Evangelidis, who has long been a champion of community welfare, and his dedicated team are preparing to embark on a mission to more than 20 non-profit organizations and community centers.
