Connecticut authorities have identified a Worcester mother and her 3-year-old son as two of the three individuals found dead on Tuesday night in a Brooklyn, Connecticut, home. The third victim has not yet been publicly identified; notification is pending.

State police in Danielson received a report of a suspicious incident at a Middle Street residence around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon arrival, two adults and a child were discovered deceased inside the home. While the case is believed to be an isolated incident, Connecticut State Police have not disclosed any further details.

The mother, Lury M. Pizarro, 33, and her son, Emanual M. Pizarro, 3, were both remembered fondly in a recent GoFundMe campaign launched by the family. The post describes Lury as “an amazing and beloved mother, daughter, sister, and cousin,” who was “selfless and always helping others.” Emanual was remembered as “smart, loving, caring, and playful.”

The community has been left reeling in the wake of this tragedy. Those who knew Lury and Emanual have taken to social media to express their shock and grief at their sudden passing.
