At approximately 12:40 PM on Wednesday, October 22, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad observed a drug transaction between a male and a female on Lincoln Street.

Shortly after, officers located forty-five-year-old Gadson Mwangi of Worcester in a nearby parking lot. Two plastic bags were found on his person — one containing what appeared to be crack cocaine and the other containing what appeared to be fentanyl.

Mwangi was placed under arrest for Distribution of a Class A Substance, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Possession of a Class A Substance. The female involved was also arrested for Possession of a Class A Substance and an outstanding warrant.
