Russo Italian Restaurant to Close After Over a Decade of Serving the Community
With heartfelt gratitude, Russo Italian Restaurant has announced that it will not be renewing its lease, and after years of serving the community, the beloved eatery will close its doors on October 26th, following its final dinner service.
In a statement made on the Facebook page, owner Ed Russo shared the deep emotions behind the decision, saying, “It’s a difficult and emotional decision to say goodbye, one that was not made easily.” The restaurant, a cornerstone in the community, held a special place in his heart, honoring the many generations of Russo’s family who cherished food, drink, and tradition together.
The recipes that delighted so many diners over the years came from Russo’s grandparents, who passed down their culinary heritage. “I was blessed and honored to share them with our guests,” Russo said, reflecting on the countless meals and memories created in the restaurant.
As the news spread, Russo expressed his deep appreciation to patrons for their unwavering support over the years. “Thanks to everyone who dined with us. I am incredibly grateful for your support and loyalty. Thanks for trusting us with your celebrations, birthday parties, date nights, marriage proposals, and so much more.”
Russo also extended heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff who contributed to the restaurant’s success. “To our staff, past and present, thank you for helping us provide so many wonderful experiences. Your loyalty and service will never be forgotten.”
While the restaurant will close its doors, the memories made at Russo Italian Restaurant will remain in the hearts of the community. Russo concluded with a sincere message: “Grazie (Thank you)… Arrivederci (Goodbye)… and Amore a Tutti (Love to All)!”
The final weeks of service are expected to be a bittersweet celebration of the Russo legacy, and community members are encouraged to visit before the last meal is served.
