Meet the Team

I want to take a moment to share with you why I started What’s Up Worcester. This decision came from the heart and is deeply rooted in my love for the place we call home.

As someone who was raised in this community, I have experienced firsthand the power of its people and the richness of its culture. This is a place that has given me so much, from the support of my neighbors and the opportunities to pursue my dreams, to the chance to build a life and a family of my own.

But despite all of its strengths, I have also noticed that our community is often overlooked by larger media outlets. The stories that matter to us often go untold or are misrepresented, leaving us feeling disconnected and unheard.

That’s why I decided to take matters into my own hands and start a local news outlet. By doing so, I hope to give a voice to the people and stories that make our community special. I believe that every person in our community deserves to be heard and understood, and that a local news outlet can help to bridge the gap between us and the rest of the world.

I am incredibly grateful to the community that has helped me grow into the person I am today. I see this as an opportunity to give back, to help others feel seen and valued, and to make our community a better place for all of us.
