Worcester Police Arrest Three in Major Fentanyl and Cocaine Trafficking Bust on Perry Avenue

On October 14th, 2024, the Worcester Police Department’s Vice Squad executed a search warrant at a residence on Perry Avenue, leading to the arrest of three individuals involved in drug trafficking. The operation began at approximately 5:14 PM when thirty-eight-year-old Elvin Delacruz, the primary target of the warrant, exited the residence and drove away. Officers performed a vehicle stop shortly after, arresting Delacruz without incident.

Following his arrest, the Vice Squad executed the search warrant at the Perry Avenue address, where two additional men were discovered inside. Erick Urbaez, 36, and Jean Rosario, 31, were found in possession of a large quantity of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash. The search led to the recovery of approximately 112 grams of fentanyl and 157 grams of cocaine.

All three men have been charged with Trafficking a Class A Substance (Fentanyl) 100-1000 grams and Trafficking a Class B Substance (Cocaine) 100-199 grams. The investigation is ongoing, and the Worcester Police Department continues to combat drug trafficking in the city.
