Worcester, MA – February 9th, 2024

In a significant operation executed by Worcester Police officers from the Operations division on February 9th, 2024, a major drug bust resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old individual and the seizure of a substantial quantity of illicit substances.

At approximately 2:22 PM, officers executed a search warrant targeting an apartment on King Street. The primary suspect, identified as Kavin Aldino, was apprehended on the premises while law enforcement conducted a thorough search of the residence.

During the search, officers uncovered a considerable amount of suspected narcotics, including what appeared to be fentanyl, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, and various pills. The substances were found packaged in a manner consistent with distribution, indicating potential involvement in illicit drug trafficking operations.

Mr. Aldino was promptly placed under arrest following the discovery of the illicit substances. He now faces multiple charges, including Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in a Class B Substance 36-99 Grams, and Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.

The arrest underscores the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies in Worcester to combat drug-related crimes and uphold public safety. The seizure of such a significant quantity of narcotics will undoubtedly disrupt illicit drug distribution networks operating within the community.

Worcester Police Department officials have emphasized their commitment to pursuing individuals involved in drug trafficking and ensuring that they are brought to justice. Investigations into this case remain ongoing as authorities work to gather further evidence and identify any potential accomplices.

The successful execution of the search warrant and subsequent arrest highlight the dedication and vigilance of Worcester Police officers in safeguarding the community against the harmful effects of drug trafficking activities.

Mr. Aldino is currently in custody awaiting further legal proceedings, and authorities urge anyone with information related to this case or other criminal activities to come forward and assist in ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in Worcester.
