The Baltimore Ravens, in addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the wider NFL community, are currently in a state of mourning following the untimely passing of former star running back, Alex Collins. The unfortunate incident took place during a motorcycle accident over the past weekend.

Both the Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks, another team with which Collins had affiliations, took to their respective social media platforms to share the heart-wrenching news and extend their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of the late athlete. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has officially confirmed that the cause of Collins’ demise was attributed to a fatal motorcycle collision, which occurred as the athlete’s motorcycle collided with a turning car.

Alex Collins, whose tenure with the Ravens spanned from 2017 to 2018, left an indelible mark on the field. He prominently featured in 22 games during his time in Baltimore, amassing an impressive 1,384 yards and scoring 13 touchdowns through his skillful rushing. Notably, his prowess was particularly evident during matches against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he managed to accumulate a notable 380 yards in just five games. This figure stands as his highest rushing yardage against any single opponent throughout his entire career.

As the news of Collins’ tragic passing continues to resonate throughout the NFL community, the Pittsburgh Steelers have joined in expressing their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late athlete during this challenging and grievous period.
