Clark University’s School of Business has been included in Fortune’s Best Business Schools and MBA Programs for 2026, with its full-time Master of Business Administration program ranked No. 56 nationally.

According to the university, the program moved up 14 spots from No. 70 last year. Clark’s MBA is one of eight programs at Massachusetts colleges and universities to appear on the list and the only one located in Worcester County.

Dr. Jing Zhang, dean of the School of Business, said in a statement that the recognition reflects the school’s continued investment in program quality and innovation.

“We are thrilled that Fortune continues to recognize Clark’s School of Business and MBA program,” Zhang said. “We provide our students with a quality program that provides an excellent return on their investment.”

Fortune reported that its rankings are based on data across 10 weighted categories. The largest share of the ranking, 55 percent, focuses on student outcomes, including salaries, employment rate, and graduation rate. Additional factors include academic quality and selectivity, program stability and scale, and cost. More information about the ranking criteria is available on Fortune’s website at https://fortune.com.

Clark University also recently announced that the School of Business will relocate this fall to the Shaich Family Alumni and Student Engagement Center on campus. University officials said the new space will include modern classrooms, technology labs, meeting rooms, and engagement areas designed to support collaboration between students, faculty, alumni, and external partners.

Launched in 1982 and accredited by AACSB International, Clark University’s School of Business offers full-time and part-time MBA programs with concentrations in accounting, information management and business analytics, finance, general management, marketing, and social change and sustainability. The school also offers several Master of Science degree programs and oversees undergraduate business programs and the university’s entrepreneurship program.

Clark University is located in Worcester and enrolls undergraduate and graduate students across multiple disciplines.
