On Wednesday, January 11, a shooting occurred in Worcester’s Vernon Hill neighborhood, injuring an 11-month-old child as well as two adults, according to the police. Around 10:45 p.m., officers went to a report of gunfire in the area of Harlem Street and discovered that a baby, a 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were being treated for gunshot wounds at a hospital close by, according to Worcester police.  The wounds, according to investigators, are not potentially fatal. More information concerning the incident was withheld by the authorities. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call detectives at 508-799-8651.
