East Brookfield, Massachusetts – A rollover crash on a residential road in East Brookfield has resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man from Brookfield and the injury of two children. The crash occurred just after 5:45 p.m. on Friday evening on Podunk Road.

According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the East Brookfield Police Department received several 911 calls reporting the single-car crash. Upon arrival at the scene, the driver was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released by authorities.

Two child passengers were also involved in the crash and were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, it is unclear if the children were related to the deceased driver and what may have caused the fatal crash.

The crash resulted in a temporary power outage in the area, but power has since been restored. Podunk Road was also temporarily closed, but has since been reopened.

The East Brookfield Police Department is investigating the crash to determine the cause and whether any charges will be filed. The families of the victim and the injured children are in the thoughts of the community during this difficult time.
