Cradles to Crayons Delivers Winter Essentials to Worcester Public Schools
In a heartwarming partnership, Cradles to Crayons has once again stepped up to support Worcester Public Schools with their annual donation of seasonal clothing packs. Delivered to the Family and Community Engagement Office, this timely contribution ensures that students will be bundled up for the colder months ahead.
The donation included a range of essentials, from long sleeve shirts, pants, and sweaters to socks, underwear, and winter coats. Schools were able to place orders for specific items based on the needs of their students, and Cradles to Crayons did the rest, bringing a truckload of winter gear right to Worcester’s doorstep.
Wraparound coordinators and the McKinney-Vento staff worked together to sort and distribute the clothing, ensuring it reaches families in need quickly. This collaborative effort is a crucial support system for many in the community, especially as temperatures begin to drop.
With winter just around the corner, this donation is set to make a real impact. A big shoutout to Cradles to Crayons, the Family and Community Engagement Office, and everyone involved in making this happen for WPS families!
