Greenhill Parkway Closure for Final Paving: October 25-28
The City of Worcester has announced that a section of Greenhill Parkway, from the entrance of Green Hill Park at Channing Street & Green Hill Parkway to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will be closed for final paving from Friday, October 25 through Monday, October 28.
During this period, the parkway will undergo its top course paving as part of ongoing improvements to the area. The road will remain closed until 6 a.m. on Monday, October 28.
While the road is closed, visitors will need to use Belmont Street (Officer Manny Familia Way) to access all Green Hill Park amenities. This includes Worcester Technical High School, the Green Hill Golf Course, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
If you’re planning to visit the park this weekend, please plan your route accordingly and allow extra travel time to navigate around the closure. The city appreciates your patience as these necessary upgrades are completed, enhancing the experience for all park-goers in the future.
