Worcester Man Arrested After Police Discover Suspected Crack Cocaine and Ammunition in Bowdoin St Apartment

Worcester, MA – On January 17th, 2024, the Worcester Police Vice Squad executed a search warrant at a Bowdoin St address, leading to the arrest of a Worcester man after the discovery of what authorities suspect to be crack cocaine and an array of ammunition. The operation took place around 6:40 PM, with officers entering the apartment and locating the target of the warrant, identified as Felix Maldonado.

Upon securing the premises, officers proceeded to search the apartment, where they uncovered substances and items raising concerns. Among the findings were what appeared to be crack cocaine, various types of ammunition, firearm components, and packaging materials. The presence of these items prompted the immediate detention of Mr. Maldonado.

Further investigation revealed that Felix Maldonado lacked a Firearm Identification (FID) card or a License to Carry. As a result, he was placed under arrest on charges of Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card. Additionally, two other individuals present in the apartment were apprehended due to outstanding arrest warrants.
