An early-morning gunshot that Monday morning put nearby schools on lockdown is being investigated by Worcester Police as a homicide.
Around 8:40 in the morning, officers responded to a complaint of a shooting on Burncoat Street and discovered a 28-year-old man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
After authorities concluded there was no risk to the community, the lockdowns at the nearby schools were lifted.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.

Hi, Neat post. There is a problem with your site in internet explorer, would check this?IE still is the market leader and a huge portion of people will miss your wonderful writing because of this problem.
With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help stop content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.
I do like the way you have framed this specific difficulty plus it does indeed give me a lot of fodder for consideration. Nevertheless, because of what precisely I have seen, I really wish when the commentary pile on that men and women keep on issue and not embark upon a tirade involving the news du jour. Anyway, thank you for this outstanding point and even though I can not really agree with it in totality, I regard the viewpoint.
Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
