In the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in Fitchburg, a man has been charged with murder.

Fitchburg, Massachusetts — A Fitchburg man has been charged with murder in connection with the March stabbing death of an 18-year-old.
According to prosecutors, Jose Ramos Solis, 22, stabbed Gadiel Maria after a fight near Spruce and Salem streets. According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office, the fight occurred soon before midnight on March 18.
He drove himself to another site after Maria was stabbed and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Solis will be arraigned later in Worcester Superior Court.
