If you’ve been waiting for something to get you out of the house, this is the weekend. The city’s packed with food, music, and fall fun — plus a few scares for anyone in the Halloween spirit. Whether you’re bringing the kids, linking up with friends, or just exploring solo, there’s plenty going on around Worcester County.
Friday Night Frights & Glowing Good Times
Glow Night at Wojcik’s Farm
📍 65 Milk Street, Blackstone
Wojcik’s Farm is switching things up with Glow Night at the Corn Maze, and it’s exactly what it sounds like — a night maze under the stars with glow sticks lighting the way.
It’s $12 per person (kids 5 and under free), and there’s way more than just the maze. You’ll find food trucks, ice cream, yard games, The Beer Barn, and even a bounce house for the little ones.
The last maze entry is at 8 PM, so don’t show up late. The drive to Blackstone is worth it — it’s a good time for all ages and supports a local farm that’s been part of the community for years.
Saturday: Worcester Goes All In
Saturday, October 11th is one of those days where there’s so much happening, you’ll wish you could be in two places at once.
Morning Kickoff: Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
📍 Worcester Common, 455 Main Street | 11AM–5PM
Start your day downtown at the 14th Worcester Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival. Over 20 food trucks, local craft breweries, live music, and a full artisan market — all in the heart of the city.
You’ll find everything from tacos and BBQ to lobster rolls and grilled cheese. Even Cousins Maine Lobster will be on site. (Pro tip: order ahead on their app to skip the lines.)
Admission varies, but kids 10 and under are free. Bring a blanket, grab a spot on the Common, and make a day of it. Local vendors like Ruby Jules Gifts and Timeless Adorn will be set up — a great way to support small businesses and maybe get a head start on holiday shopping.
Afternoon Excellence: Pizza Paradise
📍 Greater Good Imperial Brewing Company, 55 Millbrook Street
At the same time, Worcester Pizza Fest 2025 is happening over at Greater Good. It’s the second year for the festival, and it’s only getting bigger.
Pizza from all your local favorites — Kelley Square Pizza, Blue Jeans Pizza, Fratelli’s, and more — all under one roof. Entry is $5, slices are $4, and kids under 10 get in free.
There’s live music, family-friendly activities, and the beer selection you’d expect from Greater Good. Finish it off with gelato from Froze Zone, and you’ve got yourself a perfect Worcester afternoon.
Evening Vibes: WOOSTOCK Returns
📍 Off The Rails, 90 Commercial Street | Doors 5:30PM
When the sun goes down, it’s time for WOOSTOCK at Off The Rails.
Tickets are $20, and the lineup’s loaded: Between The Waves, Colt & The Coyotes, Friends of Coop, Miss Fairchild, and comedy from Sir Shaun Connolly.
Beers from Greater Good, Harpoon, and Sam Adams will be on tap. This is what downtown Worcester does best — local music, good people, and that easy weekend energy.

The Spooky Season Special: Crompton Street Haunted Walk
📍 28 Crompton Street | October 10–12 | 7:30–10:30PM
If Halloween season is your thing, make time for the 4th Annual Crompton Street Haunted Walk.
Run by Jennifer Hassett and Carolyn Swift-Arcuri, this isn’t your typical haunted house — it’s a full outdoor experience built from the ground up, with handcrafted sets and live scares that make the street itself feel alive.
It’s open to all ages, with scare/no-scare and touch/no-touch options so everyone can enjoy it. Admission is a $5 donation plus a non-perishable food item, with proceeds going back to the community.
It runs all weekend, but Saturday night features a photo booth by DJ Barbosa, perfect for those post-scare pictures.
Sunday’s Scene: Celebrating Latina Authors
📍 Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square
End the weekend on a meaningful note at the Worcester Public Library with a preview of Ella Poderosas Vol. 1, a collection of stories from 20 Latina authors across Massachusetts.
This event celebrates leadership, resilience, and empowerment through storytelling. Expect live readings, Q&A sessions, and a chance to meet the authors before the book is officially published.
There’ll be refreshments, raffles, and pre-orders available. It’s a calm, inspiring way to wrap up your weekend while showing support for local voices in literature.

How to Make the Most of It
With everything going on, pacing is key. Start with the Food Truck Festival, swing by Pizza Fest, and finish the day strong at WOOSTOCK.
If you’re looking for something spooky, Crompton Street’s Haunted Walk is perfect for Friday or Sunday when it’s a little less crowded. Want to keep it chill? The library event on Sunday is your move.
The best part? Everything’s close. You can walk from Worcester Common to Off The Rails in about 10 minutes — this city makes it easy to do it all.
The Bottom Line
This weekend is Worcester at its best — local food, live music, creative energy, and community all wrapped into three days. Every event supports local businesses and artists who keep this city moving.
From pizza and beer to haunted streets and inspiring stories, it’s all happening right here.
Grab your people, make a plan, and take it all in — because weekends like this are what Worcester’s about.
