The operation was carried out by the Worcester Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit and Cyber Crime Unit in partnership with Homeland Security Investigations in Boston and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said the investigation was designed to identify individuals seeking to engage in commercial sexual activity involving minors. Over the course of the operation, five adult men arrived at a hotel location in Worcester and were taken into custody.
