Worcester, MA — Calling all dino lovers, dance fans, and families! Get ready to shake your tail (or tailbone) at the Dancing with the Dinosaurs Dance-a-Thon, a one-of-a-kind event coming to the EcoTarium on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Worcester Natural History Society, a.k.a. the EcoTarium Museum of Science and Nature, this prehistoric party with a purpose is more than just a funky fossil fest. It’s a heartfelt fundraiser for the upcoming “Change the World” exhibit, set to open in late 2026. The exhibit will be part of the museum’s brand-new Early Childhood Science Learning Center, dedicated in memory of Anthony Putnam, a young science lover who passed away at the age of five.
Expect music, movement, and maybe even a few T. Rex twirls as guests groove among life-sized dino exhibits and explore the museum grounds in full family-friendly fashion. Whether you show up in a Jurassic jumpsuit or just your best dino dance moves, you’re in for a roaring good time.

📍 Where: The EcoTarium, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester
📅 When: Sunday, August 17, 2025
⏰ Time: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
