Firefighters in Worcester Rescue A Resident, Who Is Hospitalized After A House Fire

According to the Worcester Fire Department, a structure fire sent them to Litchfield Street just before six o’clock. Flames were pouring out of the roof toward the back of the house and were heavily engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived.

The fire was brought under control in 20 minutes, according to the fire service, after more firemen were rushed to the scene to assist in putting out the flames.

According to fire department officials, one individual needed to be evacuated from the house and transferred to a nearby hospital. On Sunday evening, there was no update on their health. The Worcester Police Department stated that one individual was treated as a result of the incident but did not disclose the degree of the person’s injuries.

The cause of the fire is being looked into by authorities.

There was no immediate update on the patient’s status available from the Worcester Fire Department.
