Eva Meredith has been identified as the Worcester woman who died in a Mini Cooper and tractor-trailer collision on the Massachusetts Pike in Framingham.
The woman who died in a Friday morning crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham has been identified as Eva Meredith by Massachusetts State Police.
According to police, state troopers responded to an incident involving a car that rear-ended a tractor-trailer on I-90 westbound in Framingham at about 2:40 a.m. Friday.
Meredith was driving a 2020 Mini Cooper when she collided with the trailer being towed by the truck.
Meredith was pronounced dead at the spot, and there were no other occupants in her vehicle. There are no other vehicles suspected to have been involved in the incident.
Meredith was possibly speeding before rear-ending the truck, according to authorities after the collision.
According to the police release identifying Meredith, the crash is still being investigated by personnel of Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police, with help from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Police Crime Services Section.
